Push type chain conveyor is equipment for pushing of steel or cast iron tubes of 2 – 12 m of dimensions from DN 20 up to DN 500 inside insulation piping. Conveyor can as well serve for vertical axis alignment of two tubes beeing thrusted inside each other. Equipment can for instance be part of production line for pre-insulated piping.
Conveyor frame is welded from profiles UPE 100. The roller chain goes on plastic low-friction plates screwed on inside of UPE 100 profile.
The chain is driven by motor with bevel gearbox which is fixed on the driving station.
There are holders welded on the transport chain which are used for mounting of supports of the pushed pipe. Supports are adjusted so there is stopper inserted in each one and stoppers are supporting pushed pipe. Transport chain is tensioned through slide bearings by tensioning screws which are secured by washers.
There are three knife type lifting jacks driven by electromotors for the leveling of the conveyor. The run sensor monitoring run of the conveyor is placed on the non-driving shaft. Rope emergency stop for the case of an accident or break-down is placed at side of the conveyor.
The conveyor is controlled with the help of a control box placed nearby. The design of conveyor is enabling reversal run.
